  Russian mine detectors to carry out mine detection and clearance in Karabakh  
 

Special machinery and equipment of the engineering and fortification units of the peacekeeping brigade of the Central Military District of the Russian Armed Forces are being brought to Nagorno-Karabakh, AzVision.az reports citing the Russian media. 

Russian military transport aircraft Il-76 will bring the mine detectors. The mine detectors will carry out engineer reconnaissance, clearing the area, roads and objects in Karabakh conflict zone. 

In addition, they will provide preparation of supply and evacuation routes, water cleaning and other engineering support tasks. Service dogs will be used to detect explosive substances.
